Off State Highway 27, North entrance to Waharoa Township
From Auckland
- Take State Highway 1 South from Auckland City
- After approximately 45km take offramp onto State Highway 2 (sign posted 'Coromandel Penninsula')
- After 37km go straight onto State Highway 27
- After approximately 65km turn right onto Hawes Street
Travel Time: Approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
From Tauranga
- Take State Highway 29 Southwest from Tauranga, goes straight onto State Highway 24
- Continue straight through Matamata until crossing over railway lines next to McDonalds
- Go right at roundabout and head straight down State Highway 27 (Waharoa Road West)
- After approximately 6km turn left onto Hawes Street, just out of Waharoa Township
Travel Time: Approx. 40 minutes
From Hamilton
- Take State Highway 1 towards Rotorua
- After approximately 16km you come to Cambridge. Follow the road to the right then at the roundabout turn left (at KFC)
- After approximately 19km turn left onto State Highway 29 (signposted 'Tauranga')
- After approximately 9km turn left onto Hopkins Road (signposted 'Matamata')
- Continue through to Matamata until stop sign, slight left then straight
- When you come to the roundabout at McDonalds go straight ahead down State Highway 27 (Waharoa Road West)
